FOS POLMO Łódź S.A. carries out the production and machining of housings made from cast iron and aluminum alloy castings, intended for use in the automotive, industrial, and machinery sectors. We produce housings with dimensions up to L × W × H: 300 × 300 × 300 mm.
We manufacture housings requiring high dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and resistance to demanding operating conditions. We pay particular attention to the machining of mating surfaces, holes, seats, flow channels, and mounting points. Finished components can be cleaned, deburred, marked, and prepared according to the specific requirements of each project.
Compressor housings
FOS POLMO also manufactures compressor housings used in pneumatic brake systems and other solutions requiring reliable operation of the compressed air system. The compressor housing performs a key structural function — it ensures the correct positioning of components and the stable operation of the entire mechanism.
The production process for compressor housings involves machining base surfaces, mounting holes, seats, air channels, and sealing surfaces. Every part is prepared with a focus on connection durability, precise component fit, and trouble-free compressor operation under intensive use.
Turbocharger housings
Turbocharger housings are components that operate under demanding conditions of high temperature, pressure, and variable loads. At FOS POLMO, we machine turbocharger housings from cast iron and aluminum castings, preparing them for precise assembly with the remaining components of the turbocharging system.
The process includes, among others, machining the contact surface with the turbocharger core, flanges, mounting holes, and internal exhaust and air flow channels. An important step is also edge finishing, cleaning the part, and preparing the housing for further assembly or shipping. Thanks to a properly conducted machining process, the housing maintains the required geometry, connection tightness, and stable operation within the system.
