1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the processing and protection of personal data provided by users in connection with the use of the FOS POLMO Łódź S.A. website (the "Website").

Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and applicable Polish law.

3. What data we collect and why

The Website collects personal data only to the extent necessary to handle inquiries submitted through the contact form. In the form, we ask you to provide:

  • your first and last name,
  • company name,
  • e-mail address,
  • phone number (optional),
  • the content of your inquiry and, optionally, attached technical documentation (drawings, 3D models, specifications).

This data is processed solely to respond to the inquiry submitted, to prepare a commercial offer or a proposed production process, and to conduct further business correspondence.

4. Legal basis for processing

Personal data submitted through the contact form is processed on the basis of:

  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent given when submitting the form,
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — the Controller's legitimate interest in handling business inquiries and conducting business correspondence,
  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — to the extent that processing is necessary to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (e.g. preparing an offer).

5. Data retention period

Personal data submitted through the contact form is stored for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, and subsequently for the period required by applicable law (e.g. tax and accounting regulations, if the correspondence leads to a contract) or until an effective objection is raised or consent is withdrawn.

6. Recipients of data

Personal data may be accessed by entities providing services necessary for operating the Website and handling correspondence on behalf of the Controller, in particular the hosting provider and the provider of the contact-form software. These entities process data solely under a data-processing agreement and in accordance with the Controller's instructions.

The Website uses an embedded Google Maps widget (the "Location map" section on the Contact page), in connection with which Google LLC may process technical data (e.g. IP address) while the map is displayed, in accordance with Google's own privacy policy.

Personal data is not transferred to third countries (outside the European Economic Area) other than in the situations described above, resulting from the use of Google's services.

7. Cookies

The Website may use cookies necessary for its proper functioning (e.g. technical cookies related to handling the contact form and spam protection). The Website does not currently use analytics or advertising tools that track user activity (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel).

The embedded Google Maps widget may set its own cookies originating from Google, independent of the Controller.

You may change your browser settings at any time to block cookies or to be notified when they are being saved.

8. Rights of data subjects

You have the right to:

  • access your personal data and receive a copy of it,
  • rectify (correct) your data,
  • erase your data ("the right to be forgotten"),
  • restrict the processing of your data,
  • data portability,
  • object to the processing of your data,
  • withdraw your consent to data processing at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for the protection of personal data — the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland, if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates GDPR.

10. Data security

The Controller takes due care to ensure an appropriate level of security for the personal data processed, including the use of technical and organizational measures designed to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Controller reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, in particular in connection with changes in legislation, technologies used on the Website, or the scope of services provided. The current version of the Privacy Policy is always available on this page.
